We will have a PRE-CHRISTMAS SALE in our gallery with reductions of up to 35% across our range of decorative antique and contemporary carpets and textiles, plus an eclectic selection of other beautiful objects such as bead jewellery and Bagan lacquer from Myanmar. Starting Saturday, 24 November, and ending Saturday, 22 December 2018.

Mince pies and fruit included, plus, as usual, a friendly reception.

We are now back in the gallery with our beautiful oriental furnishing carpets and rugs, antique embroideries, silk ikats and other textiles and contemporary carpets large and small waiting for a new home, in time to get ready for the colder season.

Our opening times are 9.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Saturday, but Wednesday by appointment only.

In good continental manner, we will be closed for our annual summer break from 6th August. We will open our doors again on Monday, 3rd September. Happy summer holidays to everyone!

Very interesting May Beattie Lecture 2018 on “Jaipur Carpets. The Collection of the Maharajas of Amer & Jaipur” , delivered by Steven J Cohen, the current May Beattie Fellow in Carpet Studies at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.

We are exhibiting with the Cotswolds Art & Antiques Dealers’ Association at Blenheim Palace from 19th to 22nd April. The shop will be closed for that period, but we would be very happy to welcome you at our Stand 8 in the Colonnades.

We will be closed on Friday, 30 March, and on Easter Monday, 2nd April 2018. Open on Saturday, 31 st March.
