Made in the central Persian city of Kashan in the  late 19th century. Printed cotton with flamboyant florals on a red ground. The printed cotton lining is more subdued in shades of brown. This charming jacket is tailored in the Qajar style, flared over the hips and with a very small waist. Quilted all over and in excellent condition
