Description
This Kungrat ilgich from Uzbekistan is a wall hanging dating to the middle of the 19th century. It is a silk embroidery worked in a variety of stitches, mainly chain stitch, cross stitch and couching, on a rare green ground with weft-float brocading and braided net fringes ending in knots and tassels, including never-ending knots.
